Tulalip Terminal Area open to salmon fishing 

Action:  Opens salmon fishing in Tulalip Terminal Area Fishery 

Effective date:  May 27 through Sept. 5, 2022

Species affected:  Salmon 

Location:   Tulalip Terminal Area – waters west of Tulalip Bay and within 2,000 feet of shore from the pilings at Old Bower’s Resort to a fishing boundary marker approximately 1.4 miles northwest of Hermosa Point and not including waters east of a line drawn from Mission Point to Hermosa Point. 

Rule: Open to salmon fishing between 12:00 a.m. Friday morning to 11:59 a.m. Monday morning each week; closed from 12:00 p.m. Monday through 11:59 p.m. Thursday each week.

Exception: this area is closed the day of June 11, 2022.

Two fish daily limit. Chinook min. size 22″.  Other salmon species, no min. size. Two-pole endorsement allowed. 

Reason for action:   This fishery was agreed upon with co-managers in the 2022 North of Falcon season setting process.   

Additional Information:  Fishery will be closed on June 11, 2022 for tribal ceremonial fishing.
