Nushagak Candied Salmon

Recipe
is for 1” think salmon – vary cooking time depending on thickness
or desired texture
Ingredients:
Salmon
Salt
Pepper
Garlic Salt
Lemon
Brown Sugar
Butter
Place
salmon fillet in baking dish
Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees
Salt,
pepper and garlic salt to taste.
Squeeze
juice from whole lemon over fish.
Cover
dish with foil and place in pre-heated oven.
Bake
for 20 minutes.
Remove
from oven and pat a thin layer of brown sugar over entire fillet.
Melt
enough butter to drizzle over fillet (approx 1 tablespoon per
pound of salmon).
Place
uncovered in oven for additional 10 – 15 minutes until fish begins
to flake apart.
