WDFW March 15th meeting to include vote on bait ban and delayed opening for Puget Sound rivers

The WDFW Commission is meeting March 14th to the 16th. The complete agenda of that meeting is linked below.

On Friday, March 15th, from 1:00pm to 1:30pm, the WDFW “Staff will brief the Commission and ask for a decision on the request to change regulations that will ban the use of bait in all rivers and tributaries in the Puget Sound and delay the opening of fishing season until mid-June in Puget Sound Rivers.” [emphasis mine -ed.]
